Brecken's 1st Birthday

Our friends Brian and Lindsey's little girl turned 1 over the weekend. We had fun celebrating her birthday out in the sun. She loved her cake, I got to do the inviations for her party too, it was a bookworm theme. Max met a lot of friends there. He even played t-ball and hopped on a trampoline.

Last Friday we went to Toys r us to get Brecken a 1st Birthday gift. We went down the pink part of the toys and saw some cute little people toys that were pink, so cute. We saw a sign that said buy one get one free any fisher price item! We also had a $5 off coupon that Max had left over from his Birthday. We looked around and saw this fisher price basketball goal that is adjustable and will grow and get taller along with Max, it was perfect! We thought it'd be fun to take it on the deck this summer, for now it's in front of the fire place. We thought it was so neat we ran in to the buy one get one free sale, worked out great..Happy Easter Max!

2nd Day of Spring in NWA

So Friday night they predict rain turning into snow - NWA Translation - it's going to rain and we're not sure what else it is going to do - so we are going to say a chance of snow just in case....so Saturday, here comes the rain. Saturday afternoon we see huge flakes, very pretty, but they seem to be melting away. By Saturday night the snow is still falling, but all slush on the roads, so we head out to a family celebration meal at shogun for Mike's promotion like planned. Well we get out of shogun, and it's still snowing, we couldn't believe it. By that time there was 1 to 2 inches on the ground. We went home and talked about church in the morning and said we'd probably go, because we expected it all to melt overnight. Well, Sunday morning came, we opened the door, and this is what we saw. We couldn't believe it. It was beautiful, needless to say we did not attend church that morning, but instead had a big family breakfast while watching the snow. Max had his favorite, pancakes, and we ate breakfast for the first time on our new table. What beautiful snow.

We got a new table!!!

After years of looking...well only a month for real...but literally Mike and I have been looking and talking about a table for forever! Our kitchen where the table goes is a unique spot, so we never could find one in the right size, right color, etc. Walking through Sam's one Friday night Family night we spotted the table...the one!! We bought it the next day. Here is Max and Mike putting together the table. It is our first table to buy together.

Bekah turns 3!!!

Tracy and David came up for Bekah's 3rd Birthday. We all met up at Chuckee Cheese. We had a great night, eating cake, opening presents, and of course playing games. Max's favorite was the free slide, my favorite was skeet ball and Grandpa's favortie was Let's Make a Deal...everyone had a lot of fun it was nice of David and Tracy to put the party together for Bekah.

Bye Bye Table

My grandma gave me this table when I moved into my first college apartment. It has been with me and mike for a while, but due to a stain on the top, rolling chairs, large chairs, only 4 chairs, arms coming off of the chairs, etc....etc...we decided it was time for Mike and me and Max to purchase our first Kitchen Table. We went hunting and found one at Sams. This one sold on Criagslist in less than 6 hours. Bye Bye Table. Thank you Grandma
