Santa!!!
I guess Max was a good boy this year, because We woke up Christmas morning and Santa had left some goodies for Max.
Twas the night before Christmas
Grandma and Grandpa got max ( and the girls) each a book, The Night before Christmas. I have never seen one like it before. It is where you can record your voice to read the story. The first page is Grandpa, the second page is Grandma, and so on....for the whole book The Night before Christmas. I let Max listen to it right before he went to bed. You could tell he could recognize their voices. It is definitely a neat keepsake for Max. After reading the book, we set out cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer, than Max went down for a big night sleep, anxious for his first Christmas morning.
Christmas Eve in Sonora
We spent Christmas Eve at my mom and dad's house in Sonora. It was me, mike and max and my brother Todd with Jennie and the girls - Mary Frannie, Mabry, and Laney. The girls had spent the night the night before so we all met there Christmas Eve morning at 9 am for a big Christmas Eve Breakfast and to open gifts. We thought the whole day approach would be the best one to take with 4 grandkids all under the age of 5.and two of them being 10 months old. It worked out perfect. Everyone got their naps, their feedings, and we still got some gift time in there. We even had enough time to get everyone ready for church and get back home safely just before the snow and sleet hit. It was a lot of fun as always. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa.

Max, Bekah, Mike, Matt, & Me make a gingerbread house
We attempted to make a gingerbread house the other night. Those little things are tough! Eventhough the gingerbread house didn't make it, here is a video before the collapse. We all still had a lot of fun.

White Christamas
We woke up Christmas morning to snow!! Eventhough we were sad we could not go down to Russellville because if the bad weather we were excited that Max's first Christmas was going to be a white one! We had fun showing him all of the snow and yes we did let him go sledding.... Just once.... Pictures to come
