Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad

I'm so far behind in blogging, I wasn't sure where how when or what to start back with....but I figure my parent's 42nd Wedding Anniversary is as good as time as any.....

Happy 42 years of Marriage to my mom and dad

Thank you for your hard work and commitment to each other and your family over the years. I was looking the other day of how our family has grown...

Than, 15 years ago... we added one....when Todd found Jennie - and what a blessing she has been. God knew what he was doing when he sent her our way.

5 years later, the real fun started....with the arrival of the first Grandkid....Mary Frannie

Our lives have never been the same since.

and the latest addition....Little Al

Over the years our family has grown and I am so thankful for you and dad and the strong Christian example you have always been for our family.

I know it couldn't have always been easy, but thank you for raising us three kids and sticking together.

Thank you for everything you helped teach us....the little things....and the big things....

how to ride a bike

 thank you for teaching us how important it is to always help others

you taught us the importance of family




you taught us how important it is to have close friends and treat them like family

you showed us how to be a good parents

how to hang Christmas lights

how to play golf

you watched us play sports

an now help us cheer on the grandkids too

you taught us how to play games and spend time as a family

you spent time with us.....and now we spend time with our kids

you taught us how to smile, have fun, and be silly

Over the years you have always been there for us 3 kids

 

Your always there when we need an extra push

when we tackle a project that is over our heads

or when we aren't quite sure what we are doing

your even there when our requests are help with a 15 foot letter A

when we need a babysitter, we know who to call

you showed us how important it was to get an education and always supported us as worked hard to earn out different degrees

you have always been there for us

you have helped us to overcome obstacles

to support each other and others

your laps are never empty

your naps just aren't the same

but you never complain

It's been 42 years since you walked down the aisle

So Happy 42 Anniversary.  

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
