Alex is 3! (Since September 3rd, haha)
Mike took off on Alex's real Birthday. It was fun to get some time with Mike and spend Alex's Birthday just us. First stop - lunch at Max's school. Started 10:30am. This was our first time to eat with Max. Alex was so excited.
Next up we decided to take Alex swimming. The pool was freezing and dirty that day. I didn't even get in! We had had a storm the day before. Alex of course didn't care. He didn't swim a lot but enjoyed us just being there and having the pool by ourselves.
I had to workout that day. My times are scheduled times. So Mike took this opportunity to take Alex for a treat. He took him to TCBY and got him some dairy free icecream. YUM
While they were away I finished up Alex's Olaf Birthday cupcake cake. Per Alex's request. I thought it turned out cute. It's no shelby Lynn's, but its dairy free and Alex loved it, so that is all that matters.
Next up it was time to pick up Max from school Guess where we took them?! We had been saving up Build a Bear coupons and gift cards, so we took them to Build a Bear and let them each pick out a fun animal to make.
Alex chose a dolphin? Probably because he still talks about our beach trip almost every day. Max picked out a bear and dressed him up as shredder from Ninga Turtles.
Max got a weapon so of course Alex got one. Alex got a light saber for his dolphin. Very funny, but it worked.
Here are the boys standing in front of build a bear with their loot.
Why not just keep spoiling them right? We save up tokens from Chuckee cheese. You can get 100-125 for $20. There is also some stuff to do at chuckee cheese that doens't cost anything at all. Alex can't eat any of the food there, so we don't order any. In other words, we can make a quick, almost free trip to chuckee cheese - and they boys have a blast, so that's what we did. We took them for about 45 minutes, gave them each 20 coins, and let them play whatever games they wanted.
We decided we would make pizzas for Alex's Birthday. Of course we don't put cheese on Alex's.
My parents came over for Pizza and gifts.
Alex's favortie gift? They always like the box best right? haha
My parents gave Alex a NEW Bike. Not a hand me down, not rhea lana's, but a NEW bike and jsut the right size (very tiny). Alex was very excited. We have a lot of work to do before he can actually ride it, but he sure tries.
Happy Birthday Alex, my sweet precious little man.
