It was a razorback game day morning. My dad's birthday was the next day and we needed to get some ingredients for his gift. We were going to make him ( no idea how to spell) baukenbry. It's a family recipe from Iowa. He had it growing up. It has some interesting ingredients including liver and a lot of other meat, but the main ingredient was buck wheat flour. Well - before our only place to get this was War Eagle mill - not the most convenient destination when you work...or whenever! But I was sitting with a sorority sister - Kama - on Friday night at state weekend and she mentioned she was going to Ozark Natural foods the next morning. I asked her - do you think they have buck wheat flour? She said they had all sorts of flour! I got excited -s he gave me the hours of the store and we made a family trip before the razorback game early on Saturday to go find grandpa buck wheat flour! Great news - it was there - we got 5 pounds and we're going back for more at Christmas! So excited to find it and max had a blast shopping. They had these little shopping carts and max loved them, me and mike got a kick out of him tryign to shop. It was amazing - he just looked just like an adult shopping around.
