Bentonville Fall Soccer

Last Friday Bentonville had their Fall soccer kick off where we got to meet Max's coach and assistant coach and his team mates. His team name is ELITE, they have blue jersey's and he is number 4. Last Saturday he had his first practice.  Below are the pictures.  It was a little hot, we went through a Gatorade, caprison, and two waters.  His coach seems really nice and knows a lot about soccer.  She played games with them, had different drills for the kids and rewarded them with stickers. Max did really good especially compared this this Spring :) He was listening and doing all the games and really kicking it hard, and he looked like he was really enjoying himself.  I'm so glad we signed him up.  I was a little hesitant at first because it lasts through October and there are practices and games almost every week, but it looks like Max is going to have fun playing, and we are going to have fun watching.  We want Max to learn to play a sport because we want him to be active as a kid and find something outdoors he really likes to do.  We also want him to learn how to make friends and work as a team.  I also want him to learn to take instruction from other adults like his coaches.  I think it really is going to teach him a lot. We're looking forward to an eventful soccer season with lots of practices and games in our future!!
