Branson part 2 - Silver Dollar City

On the
After Big Cedar Lodge instead of just heading home, since w all have season passes, we decided to go by Silver Dollar City for a little while before heading home.  This was our 4th trip this year.  We went once in March, Memorial Day for Mabry's Birthday, August 7th for Mary Frannie's Birthday, and than this Sunday in October. We did the usual kiddy rides but this time also road The great American shootout, which was different and fun.  We also made it to the balls, which surprisingly I didn't get any pictures of.  After the balls we pretty much were so tired we decided to head home after a full weekend of fun.  I didn't take a ton of pictures, but here are a few.

Mabry and Max road together for the Great American shootout.  Give Max a gun and tell him to shoot things?!  He was in heaven! haha

Mommy, Daddy, and Alex were chaperones for Max and Mabes

Grandma, Jennie, and Laney sat behind us.  Laney was excited for the ride.

The swings:  The ride was so short.  I mean, most rides in general you wait forever for a short ride, but this ride was seriously a lot shorter than normal.  Mike decides when we get off the ride to ask....The lady actually told Mike that the swings if they went full power that people were getting too close to the fence...what?  So Mike was like, so the ride is broken?  She was like...no not broken, we just can't ride the normal amount until they get them fixed....Me and Mike were like..um, no more swings for the Lamb crew today :)  Below are pictures of our one ride on the "not broken" swings

I took Mabry on the swings.

Mike took Max on the swings

Max and Mabry road the frogs together

Mike took Alex on the frogs!  I was a little nervous, but Alex actually looked like he enjoyed it.  It was his first time to ride the frogs.

I guess, technically Max is old enough to ride Thunderation...barely.  For those of you that are not familar with Silver Dollar City, Thunderation is an actual rollar coster.  There are adults scared of this ride.  How is my little Max big enough for this ride!  We have to take this occasion step by step.  This trip, we measured him....next trip, maybe he gets to ride too.  I just wasn't ready for him to ride a big boy rollar coaster!!!

The boys moments after leaving Silver Dollar City.  These kids were tuckered out.  They slept great all the way home and me and Mike had a nice, quiet, peaceful ride :)
