Silver Dollar City

Annual Christmas Silver Dollar City Trip

LAst year we didn't get to go.  At the last minute dad had to have his surgery so we canceled the trip.  Well we just got busy and our weekends filled up, etc, etc so we never made the trip.  This year we were extra excited.  We headed out to Branson Sunday morning December 1st.  Jennie was on a girls trip with Jana, so we really missed her, but was glad aunt Phyllis was able to join us (and don't tell her but we always appriciate an extra adult body when we have the 5 kids, haha)

woohoo we arrived!  Me and Mike took a picture before we forgot

Letters to Santa

Alex mailing his letter

the kids were so excited to see Santa

Santa has arrived!!!

Max giving his list to Santa

The boys took an awesome picture with Santa.  All you had to do is tell Alex he got a candy cane if he sat on his lap and we didn't have any problems at all!

Mabry and Laney going over their list with Santa

Just FYI - Mary Frannie isn't in the Santa pictures because she wanted to ride rollar coasters with Aunt Phyllis, Grandpa, and Todd, and because she had just seen him the weekend before.
a beautiful walkway of poinsettias

poor Alex passed out - he was so tired.  We didn't even notice he fell asleep

Max won a cow at a fishing game

Time for some rides!!!! This is Grandpa and Laney

Max and Mike's turn

My absolute favorite part of the night is the tree.  I would drive just to see this tree.  It is extremely tall with thousands of lights and they all go to music.  It is breathtaking to watch.

oh my; this picture is out of order but here is Laney and Mabry with SAnta

The entire family (minus Phyllis taking the picture)

All in All I think we had a great trip....my favorite moments

Phyllis got to ride with us and our car was kid free!  We enjoyed adult talk and Christmas carols
We shopped at the Tanger outlets
I got to be with Max on his first rollercoaster ride.  We took him on Thunderation.  He did great.  I laughed at him the whole time.  The second he stopped he yellled he wanted to do it again!
All of the little kiddie rides we got to take the kids on
When Alex fell asleep in the stroller so peacefully
The family ride on fire in the hole
The Christmas tree at the end
Subway on the way home and the best pizza ever (we were hungry!)
