Mike loves to go to the creek down the road, and so do the boys. So, Labor Day we woke up and decided to pack a picnic, put on the swimsuits, and head to the creek. It is about 5 minutes from the house so an easy short drive. The water was freezing. The boys loved to play in the water and throw rocks. It's the right depth so we don't have to worry that much about either of the boys. You can see in the pictures its not even up to Alex's waste. We spent some time playing in the water, trying to skip rocks, looking for fish, and finding tons of minos. It was so funny, Alex was stomping around yelling rar trying to scare them. We only stayed about an hour or hour and a half. We had a picnic while we were there. Water, gaterade, chips, ham and cheese Mickey sandwiches (left over from the party the day before) and some PB&J's. We had the boys home by nap time. Perfect way to spend Labor Day morning. Good idea Mike :)
