Walker and Will

Walker is 2 and a half, Will is 7+ months. I have known their mommy, Alexis, since I was in the 6th or 7th grade.  We both attended the same youth group, her parents were my youth counselors and Sunday school teachers, and we both pitched on team rivals (Springdale vs Fayetteville).  We stayed in the same youth group through High School Graduation, and both went to the U of A. We've kept up with each other through the years but a few years ago she moved to Bentonville and life got busy, I'd guess you say.  Well in the Spring me and Mike started a new Sunday school, and guess who are our teachers?  You guessed it, her parents, the Pharrs.  We also had her husband, Marcus help sell our old house and help us buy a new house.  So last April, we found ourselves moving up to Bentonville! Alexis has her own business (Necessarily Play) but is a stay at home mom during most days (that's the shortest way to explain it).  We figured since we were both home with two young boys that it would be fun to meet up and play with each other. We try to have play dates weekly, but every now and than vacation, or sickness, or busy schedules get in the way.  The boys love to play with Walker and Will.  Alex needs to learn to be a little gentler with Will, but all in all they play together well.  Max and Alex enjoy their new buddies and its nice for me too.  If we don't have anything to do and I'm at home for 8-9 hours with the boys, it's nice to have some company or to go to their house for something to do.

This is the reaction I get when I say raise your hands if you want to go to Walker and Will's house.

Last week we went to Walker and Will's house for a few hours.  We played outside and we played inside, we even painted some rocks.

Looking forward to the next time we can meet up and do some more fun activities with our 4 boys.

Did I mention our boys are almost 8 months, 2, 2 and a half, and 4 and a half?  yes,

FOUR BOYS UNDER FIVE!!!

 We're brave :)
