OUR NEW HOUSE!!!!

We got a new house!.....well sort of :) 

We made an offer - they accepted, now we just have to officially close on the house.  We're thinking on or around April 22nd, so we're getting close.  So since we haven't closed yet I'll just post a few pictures of the outside and let you know where we'll be moving!!

We found a great location.  It is a new subdivision called Grammercy park.  There are currently 5 houses built and 3 in the process and 2 more lots sold. If you take exit 88 (Bentonville) and exit east than take a quick left on 11st street - you'll run into it in a about a mile if you follow the road.  It's so close to everything.  Max's preschool, Mike's work, downtown Bentonville, the bypass, etc.  Mike is excited he won't have the long drive ont eh bypass after work anymore and he'll get to come home for lunch if he wants and sleep longer in the mornings. I love the house.  We have been looking since last Memorial Day when we put our house on the market.  I feel so good about this house because I feel like we really looked around - toured tons of houses with our realtor - and really made a good decision.  We never felt rushed or pressured, we made a decision we are truely happy about. 

Some neat things about this house is that it's big :)  Well big to us. Remember we are moving out of a 1500 square foot house with 2 little boys - so anything bigger than that is a blessing. We will have a Master bedroom with fancy master bath for me and Mike that includes a neat granite shower, whirlpool tub and walk in closet.  We'll also have 3 additional rooms.  One we'll have the boys share, the other will be a playroom, and the 3rd will be an office.  We'll also have a dining room!  I've known Mike for almost 11 years and neither of us have ever lived anywhere with enough room to eat :)  So that's right folks no more pulling out the table when it's time to eat - or eating in the hot smelly kitchen - being squished up again the windows and the 2 liter bottles.....we have a dining area where you can stretch out and fit the whole family.  I am excited about all the meals, holidays, birthdays, tailgates, and showers that we will use it for. It also has an open floor plan so I will be able to wash dishes or cook in the kitchen and be able to visit with anyone in the living room. My favorite thing about this house is that it has an extra bonus gameroom downstairs.  There is no upstairs.  With 2 small boys and eventually 2 young adult boys - we never have to worry about the boys being upstairs where we can't see them or using the stairs in general.  It is an extra room that we can have to entertain and watch movies, games, and play games. I am excited about that.  The backyard is nice too - it's the largest in the neighborhood we've seen so far which was important to us.  It actually has a covered outside patio and an outside fireplace.  I love that we have an area outside we can go even it it is raining or a little cold out. 

I can't wait to move into our new house.  Hoping and praying everything goes through with everything and that we are living in this house by May 1st.
